     Louisiana

5 states prohibit compensation of egg harvesting for research, but are silent on egg harvesting for IVF:
     Arizona*, California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts

4 states implicitly prohibit the sale of eggs obtained from human fetuses:
     Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, Rhode Island

1 state explicitly allows for compensation and expenses for egg harvesting for IVF:
     Indiana ($3,000 plus expenses)

1 state explicitly allows for compensation and expenses for egg harvesting for research:
     New York

*Arizona is the first state to enact a law that requires specific requirements and informed consent health warnings in regard to egg harvesting for IVF.
